The Final Draft Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards (SACQS) were released on 15 December 2023 and will come into effect on 1 July 2024. There are a number of distinct changes from the current Standards to the SACQS, including additional requirements, concepts and terminology that will need to be reflected in your organisational operations, policies and procedures in the next six months.
