Navigating the Changes in the Aged Care HR Landscape
The Australian Federal Government has recently ratified a new Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement. This agreement allows Aged Care Providers to enter Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with relevant Union bodies, facilitating the employment of workers from overseas, who have successfully completed the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support. In August 2023, the Department of Health and Aged Care published webinar slides on this Agreement and Skilled Visa Pathways for Carer Roles.
