Often, we tailor, implement and train in the care policy, such as medication management, skin/wound management, nutrition and hydration, continence, dysphagia and feeding because there is limited specialist nursing expertise and the time to develop these policies.

Gap analysis after an incident
We often work with disability providers to investigate and provide root cause analysis and investigation report on an incident that has occurred with a client in their care. During the investigation we often discover that the policies, procedures and forms either do not exist or are not robust enough to support the workforce in undertaking their roles. We will work with disability providers to assess and fill these gaps with tailored policies, processes and forms.
NDIS within Aged Care Homes
We can assist Leadership Teams in Aged Care Homes if they have National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. Approved providers have responsibilities under both the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission regulatory frameworks. Approved providers will be required to meet the requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
We are working with some of our Aged Care Home clients and their NDIS participants to assess and trial documentation tailored to these participants needs and requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards.
